Social class and Education - External factors week 1

Over the next few weeks we will look at the impact of one's social class with regards to educational ability and achievement.  This weeks we will identify some of the external (outside of school) factors, namely cultural deprivation.

Please ensure you have your notes, and bring both education and Family files with you (with the family files completed with all work and essays).

There is no video to watch this week.  We are going to work on exam, particularly essay 24 mark, questions in class.  Please make sure you have your files and have completed the action points.  The most important thing is that you have reattempted the 2 24 mark questions as we will be assessing these using the knowledge and skill gained in the lesson.

History of Education part 2 - Post 1944

>This week we will look at the education system in the UK post 1944; the changes and why they were made.  Is education better as a result or are there still the same historical inequalities there has always been.
